I tried to purchase regular seats as soon as tickets went on sale, but they were already sold out. Takes away from the show, people constantly stepping all over you. Lawn seating is annoying when it is a sold out show, no aisles for walking. I was way back on the lawn and the sound was not loud enough. Musically they were great. However, there was no connection with the audience. I believe that was because we were so far back. The venue is beautiful. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful at Bethel Woods. Traffic is a nightmare. Although I enjoyed Dave Mathews, I have been to other events that I thought were better. I will definitely attend other shows at the venue, but I don't think I will go to a sold-out event unless I can get a regular seat.
